1993 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1

VIN #18 of 448 produced in 1993. 6- Speed Manual Transmission. Only 203 where a color other than Ruby Red making a black 93 ZR1 more rare than the 40th anniversary color. One titled owner. 40th anniversary and ZR1 badges. 350/405 HP V-8 engineered by the Lotus Racing Division of Great Britain and hand-assembled at the Mercury Marine facility in Stillwater Oklahoma. Lotus designed the engine from scratch with no carryover of parts from any existing GM engine. The ZR1 all-aluminum construction (block and heads) and features dual-overhead camshafts, four valve per cylinder, a nitrated and forged steel crankshaft and a 4-bolt main bearings for internal rotating strength. A special 6-speed gearbox with Mobil 1 synthetic oil and platinum-tipped spark plugs were factory required. The ZR1 was voted 10 best by Car & Driver magazine in January 1994 issue for winning the top speed category at 179 MPH. Confirmed with Corvette Museum there were only 4 Black, Red Interior, with Blue Roof produced in 1993 making this one of 4.
