1986 Jaguar XJS Coupe

This car was supposed to be a tribute car for my Father who passed away. We have completed a tremendous amount of mechanical work to it to get it running correctly. It is now time for someone else to take it over.

I have just hit a wall with this one & would like to let someone enjoy it. Derik from Defiant said that it runs better than any other V12 that he has worked on. It starts right up and runs down the road. The paint has some room for improvement. Please see the detailed photos to see the overall condition. The brakes stop the car, but are spongier than I like & need adjustment. There is rust starting in some of the usual areas, please see the photos. Overall this, in my opinion is a great starting point for someone to drive it with a little TLC or take it all the way to a restored V12. I have invested almost $2,500 into the mechanicals to get it to a smooth running car. Now it’s your turn to enjoy this car.
