The Classic Car Appraisal Service carefully examined this 1980 Mercedes-Benz 450SL in order to prepare it for sale. All information has been copied from their appraisal, received January 2023. Vehicle has been stored in a climate controlled museum. Vehicle starts and runs well. This car appears to be almost all original. The odometer on this Silver Blue Metallic exterior with blue leather interior Mercedes shows 87,287 miles. Amenities include, but are not necessarily limited to the following: 4.5 liter V8 engine; 3-speed automatic; dual exhaust; MPH, fuel, oil, temp and amp gauges; power steering and brakes; power windows; cruise; air conditioning; clock; aftermarket AM/FM/CD radio; power antenna; blue leather bucket seat interior; fog lights; and rear window defogger. The older Bridgestone 205/70R14 radial tires are in good condition, and mounted on Mercedes-Benz painted steel wheels.

MECHANICAL: The engine starts easily and idled smoothly, and is driven every year. The automatic transmission shifted easily into gears and the car tracked straight down the road. EXTERIOR: The body is in good to very good condition with no rust or dents. All the body panels are original to the car, and the alignment is perfect. The car has its original paint, and it is in good to very good condition. The windshield and side glass are in very good condition.
